Have you
ever thought why we’re so interested in the things we don’t understand? Why do
we yearn for more information than we’re already given? Why aren’t we satisfied
with what we already know? I think we as humans like to be informed. I personally
know that if there’s something I don’t have the answer to or if I’m confused
about it then I get on my computer and research until I get the information I’m
looking for. I think curiosity is the same reason why we go to school, why we
travel. We go to school because we have an interest in something but we don’t fully
understand the complete concept of the field of study. We travel because we
want to know what else is out there. We know that there are things that we don’t
have the answers to, and no one has the answers to it. However, we want to why
things are the way they are.
Everyone
has different things that interest them. Personally for me, I don’t necessarily
find zombies, and ghost interesting. They’re not things that I would really
want to know more about. However I’m more into knowing more about businesses, products,
and things of that nature. When I get a product that I don’t know much about, I
start researching it so I can start to find out more. I want to know what
attracted me to that product, how did I come to find out that product exist. I
recent bought this new face wash kit. The face wash didn’t work for me at all,
nor did I think I really needed it. So I went back and thought about why I bought
the product in the first place. What did I see or what was said about the
product that made me attracted to it. Turns out, I found the product appealing
based off how it was marketed. I found that the way things are presented to us
determine the things we buy. When I see a newly successful celebrity or business
professional, I start researching to find out how they got to where they are. I
always wondered if two celebrities are equally talented, or even one more
talented than the other why do we gravitate towards one of them more. I found
that we support celebrities and the things they do based off how we feel they
appeal to us. Do they have a story we can relate to? Are they from our same
town? I guess it stems from my interest
in marketing and PR.
